In App Push Notifications for Upcoming Events

Describe the feature A user should get a notification on their phone for events that they have liked and are happening soon.

Possible implementation(s) Some sort of function that checks for upcoming events and finds event(s) that are happening in an amount of time (e.g. 24 hours) and sends a notification to the phone. This may be easiest after the events have been added to the users calendar.

Additional context Other applications that are to do with events can send notifications to a users phone when events they have bought tickets to are coming up, such as Facebook events. Check out Facebook events for inspiration!

Do we still need this if it is on a user's calendar? Ig it is different, but maybe unnecessary.

ye agreed pretty similar, would probably also get annoying getting notifications for something that you already get notifications for in calendar
