SORMAS (Surveillance, Outbreak Response Management and Analysis System) is an early warning and management system to fight the spread of infectious diseases.
Presently each dashboard in the system has a Map component to analyze information related to the specific dashboard being viewed.
However this present layout does not provide functionality for some forms of spatial analysis; for e.g. showing hotspots where multiple factors (e.g., cases, environmental risks, and contacts) overlap.
This feature will provide a dedicated map dashboard that Integrates diverse spatial datasets into a single view, enabling users to identify patterns, trends, and relationships that might not be apparent when analyzing each dashboard separately.
Added Value/Benefit
Enables multi-layered spatial analysis, such as:
Correlation between disease spread and environmental factors (e.g., water sources, pollution).
Assessing the movement patterns of contacts relative to confirmed cases.
Acceptance Criteria
[ ] Feature can be enabled/disabled using systems feature configuration engine
[ ] A new 'Spatial Analysis' dashboard option is added to the existing dashboard switching option group
[ ] When the above button is clicked, a dedicated map dashboard opens with filters to cross-analyze data from existing dashboard entities (cases, samples, contacts, environment)
