Bulk action for sample result entering #1990

Situation Description Bulk action for sample result entering

Feature Description It difficult for users to enter results one after the other when the numbers are in a hundred or thousand it is really time-consuming so if you can enter positive or negative results in bulk using the date will really ease things. @MartinWahnschaffeSymeda @MateStrysewskeSym

@foyiri How would this be supposed to work? Samples need values like a sample date time and a laboratory that they're assigned to, I don't think that bulk creating would be applicable here. Test results can only be added for already existing samples and also need a test date time, for example.

I think we can using date, so if I have a negative result of a particular date instead of me entering one after the other I will just filter by date enter bulk action and enter all as the negative same thing for positive and the rest

@foyiri I understand the need for such a feature but i think it is prone to errors just as Maté mentioned above. Even for samples sent to the same lab, there might be different types of test done on the samples and the final classification for each sample may also be different so the logic need to be given an in depth though process. Since lab result is a vital aspect tin classifying cases as confirmed, I think we need more time to think about such a feature before implementing it.
