Is there an existing issue for this?

What feature are you suggesting?

I want to create a custom weather scenario in FiveM where the conditions are extremely intense. Imagine a situation with :

  1. huge thunder
  2. heavy rain
  3. extremely powerful wind.

Explain all the steps and mechanics clearly and precisely.

While this weather is active: You could have issues driving your car because of the wing.

The handling would decrease with multiple factors:

  1. the faster you go, the harder it would be to control the car.
  2. The speed of the wind would also reduce or increase this effect.

The type of vehicle will also change the impact of the wind.

  1. A truck will be less impacted by the wind than a smaller car.
  2. For a bike or a motorcycle it would be extremly dangerous to drive

Similarly, helicopters will be affected by the weather. The higher you fly, the harder it will be to control the helicopter. It could even move a bit on its own to the side due to the strong winds.

Additionally, random thunderclaps could make a lot of noise, making it hard to understand other people from time to time.

Why would this feature be useful?

These features would be interesting for several reasons:

Enhanced Realism: Adding this type of weather would bring a new level of realism to the game. By making the environment more dynamic, it would create a more immersive experience for players.

Increased Challenge: The severe weather would introduce unpredictable variables that can make gameplay more challenging. It would test players’ adaptability and skills in different conditions.

New Roleplay Opportunities: It opens up fresh roleplay scenarios. For instance, if a storm hits during a bank heist and you're using fast sports cars, you'd have to adjust your strategy and driving style to cope with the weather.

Overall, I think this feature would significantly enhance the immersion and engagement of the game. Of course, it’s important to balance these changes so they add to the experience without making it overwhelming.
