this is not shotgun sequenced libraries if I understand correctly?
We used the PalaeoChip Arctic-1.0 plant and animal baits36 to capture enrich these libraries for chloroplast barcoding loci (trnL, matK, rbcL) of Arctic/Subarctic plants and for whole mitochondrial genomes (or singular loci where mitogenomes were unavailable at the time of bait-design in 2017) of extinct and extant northern animals (focused on megafauna). Libraries were sequenced on an Illumina HiSeq 1500 with 2 × 90 paired-end read chemistry.
It is hybridization capture. I was hesitant but I have seen Slon 2017 on the database, that one is hybridization capture as well. Should I avoid adding those?
Slon also uploaded shallow shotgun, and it's only that data we included
