As a user, I would like to use the "deck" functionality on strings (especially file paths) as well.
For the reader (type 15), there is an ASSIGN statement with a string and a unit.
The following would be meaningful ways to use this in the config file:
assign ddck18unit 50 "path"
here the 50 is the unitnr given at the end of the assign statement.
The ddck18unit additionally allows us to assign paths to specific ddcks.
