As a user, I would prefer not to clog a system with such massive files during parametric studies.
Some of the information they contain might still be meaningful, however.
In a current project we would like to know the min and max temperature for certain pipes.
This can easily be obtained from the monthly printegrator files instead.
Suggestions:
Providing printers as separate ddcks (timestep, HR, and MO automatically generated). Then the user can adjust these, and/or include/remove them from the config file. Perhaps this requires adjustments for how the massflowsolver operates in the GUI.
Providing flags in the config that allow a user to turn on/off certain printers.
