I was able to get COVFEFE working following the direction with one minor exception: The first attempt to run the script failed on could not import wordfreq.
I manually installed it (specifically version 2.2.0) and everything works well afterward, so it appears adding wordfreq==2.2.0 to the requirements.txt would be a good idea.
