Provide comScore data collection information for the legal department #52

As a member of the legal department I need the following question to be answered for all platforms supported by our players. Does Comscore track for SRG-traffic the following information:

Mobile advertising IDs.
Information of third party provider.
Type of hardware

Acceptance criteria

Answers have been provided to Julius from the ADI team.

Mobile advertising ID

Apple: comScore is not able to collect the IDFA for applications that do not implement App Tracking Transparency. No SRG SSR application currently integrates this framework or should in the future but we still set preventAdSupportUsage to false to ensure that, no matter how an app integrates Pillarbox, the IDFA is never sent. For Letterbox the situation is similar though this safety net was not introduced.

Remark for Android

TagCommander uses Android's Ads Library. It provides a unique advertising id per user per device. This id can be reset or disabled by the user, in the settings of his/her device.

Dunno what this is.

Hardware info

Apple: Some hardware information is collected like screen resolution or processor architecture (e.g. arm64).
Android: Some hardware information is collected like screen resolution or processor architecture (e.g. arm64).
Web: Some hardware information is collected like screen resolution or hardware type (e.g. MacIntel, though this info is incorrect on M1 hardware).

A few answers are missing but Julius told us we don't have to investigate further. Closed and can be reopened later if investigations need to be completed.
