I recognize you may be prioritizing the on-server experience here, and I'll understand if you decline it. But it really does make a big difference in readability and attractiveness on GitHub.

Hey, sorry I forgot about this. Thanks for the reformat; it does look a lot nicer on GitHub. I just squashed the commits onto the apiv2 branch. I left the text README in place for server users. This means having to keep the two READMEs in sync, but I'm already doing that with another project of mine and it's not a big deal.
