On my most recent project, I need to run on nim 0.20.0. Unfortunately, that means this fix is needed.

@SSPkrolik , could we get this change merged and moved upstream to nimble as ver 0.3?

@yglukhov Do you have commit access? Getting this ready for nim 1.0 would be very useful. Unfortunately, I've not seen much activity from @SSPkrolik for a while.
