Dory emails me on weekends, and that is very annoying because I only want to be bothered by urgent/important items on the weekend.

Suggested Solution

Do not email people on Saturday or Sunday

Hi @pierssinclairssw, as discussed with @adamcogan, @bradystroud and @leahy268 a few weeks back, Dory is currently sending out emails on weekends as there are people that work Saturday's and Sunday's and in different timezones.

For the record, I disagree. It is intrusive and desensitizes me to both Dory and all SSW emails I receive on the weekend.

As per my comments a few weeks ago, I think this will cause data problems as well as annoying people

+1 to this, sending this email on weekends (or off-normal schedule) is unnecessary since it won't be actioned until the next working days anyway.

Can we instead create a personalised preference per GH username to set their preferred active notification days?

+1 to this issue. 99% of the time people are not working over the weekend, and sending these emails is extra noise.

I would also like to see these emails not be sent when someone is on leave.
