Roms not showing in retro

In the default_options.ini it states:

# multiMAN will also scan /dev_usb00*/ROMS/snes for game roms and covers
# multiMAN will also scan /dev_hdd0/ROMS/snes for game roms and covers

I have roms in 

/dev_hdd0/ROMS/snes
/dev_usb000/ROMS/SNES

and neither are being picked up by the retro column,only place I get them to 
show is in the default dir

/dev_hdd0/game/SNES90000/USRDIR/roms

multiMAN ver 2.00.04 UPDATE (20110613_222300)
multiMAN EMULATOR PACK (SNES GENP VBA FBA FCEU) (20110611)

It seems its because they are in .zip ,they show up if I unzip the rom so for 
some reason it wont detect them in .zip
