What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Try to upload a file that is not in a directory

FILENAME is not a directory

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

At the moment the upload script only allows for directories to be uploaded 
since most releases are multiple files or have at least an info file with them. 
Perhaps in the future I will look into adding the functionality to upload 
single files as well.
For now you could just put the file in a directory and upload that.

This is an older request but I do think it would be really helpful to be able 
to upload single files. While directories make sense for video/tv files, for 
music tracks it's kind of silly to have an info file for each file, or to 
create a separate directory for every track.
