Failing name resolution (getting nxdomain) #2

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Try to get anything by httpc:request (will fail)
2. Try to resolve some host with  inet:gethostbyname/1 ()

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Expecring it to work =)

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Android 4.1, your latest Erlang distribution (R16B).

Please provide any additional information below.
I am suspicious that Erlang uses system /etc/resolv.conf file, containing 
8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4.

But after calling del_ns/1 for them and then ins_alt_ns/1 with my operator's 
DNS nothing changes.
