Good in depth exploration, I liked that you described each plot, saying what it is showing.
Also, I liked that you provided two different methods to the additional problem (how to select both Rwanda and Afghanistan) and showed why the initial code was wrong
In the plot where you colour by year, you can try to set year as a factor so that each year in the dataset is coloured differently and not on a continuous scale (perhaps would be easier to see any trends).
Something you might find useful: you can name the code chunks and that will lead to easier navigation!
