* Significance is the type of alternate version of the name. The alternate versions on these lines are sub-records of the top line.

- Greek - only added for Greek versions of Names or Group names.

Unlike the guide above, "Greek" is entered in the actual data.

If my reply does not answer, please let me know. For each person in the Bible, this data gives a single name - based on the most common name and the first reference, Other names are given if

the individual has more than one name
a name has more than one spelling in the original or in a variant text
the name is translated differently in the ESV, NIV or KJV
the name occurs in more than one language in the Bible.
- ie a Hebrew name that also occurs in an Aramaic portion of the Bible or a Hebrew name that also occurs in the Greek NT. LXX Greek versions of names have not yet been added. This is planned for the future.

Thanks for the accurate answer.

I was curious about the difference between "Greek" and "-Greek". I changed my parsing rule to exclude if there is no "- " in the child record.

Thank you again for sharing the work that requires a lot of hard work.
