EU Dashboard as a landing page #19

We could have a landing page with an EU map and e.g. a combination of the following statistics and visualizations (ideas):

  1. Number of companies existing, established, dissolved in the past X months - all platform, per region, visualized on a map
  2. "Carousel" of company names - established, dissolved, recently. - all platform, per region, per activity
  3. Top N activities - according to the number of established, existing, dissolved companies - all platform, per region
  4. Trends: Top N activities with the highest trend in numbers of established, existing, or dissolved companies, e.g. in past 3 6-month periods
  5. Top N activities - with the lowest region coverage - e.g. activities with companies in low numbers of regions (gaps)
  6. Top N regions according to companies existing, established, dissolved
  7. Top N regions per some activity (or the visualization could cycle through some 3-5 activities)
  8. Trends: Top N regions with the highest trend in numbers of established, existing, or dissolved companies, e.g. in past 3 6-month periods

Ideally, each of those would have an infobox showing how technically these results can be obtained using SPARQL queries

Supported by Project Proposal (Annex1 Use cases) Scenario 1: A Public Administration, responsible for the implementation of the digital agenda, wishes to retrieve and provide to the public a comparative overview of companies which were established or went out of business over the last period of time per region and per type of activity. Moreover, it wishes to provide information about development in similar regions in their country or outside. Often markets are not limited by borders, especially around international twin cities that share the same workforce. The problem is that in these cases it is quite difficult to find high quality data for comparison. The data will be used as a status and for political decision making.

@jakubklimek @sskagemo Partially implemented (some parts not yet supported) by this wireframe.

@tzortzispanagiotis , would it be better to split this into a set of different User Stories?
