It would be great to be able to use this with Hulu.com. Currently, it's not
working. Example output:

I have a working script for downloading from hulu, but it requires frequent
maintenance, as they add new encryption keys all the time.

Yeah, would be nice to have, but when I took a look it seemed like a lot of
work.

(Which is a way of saying, if someone wants to contribute it, that's good, but
otherwise we're not going to write it).

hey mjbauer95, you might want to check this out
http://gitorious.org/get-flash-videos-plugins/pages/Hulu

It was working great for months, it's a sweet plugin. Hulu changed something
though,
and now it gives a smil error. Looks like there's recently been some stuff done
in a
personal clone which may be merged into the hulu.pm that's linked to there,
don't know
if it will fix the problem but it looks like an attempt to, so i've got my
fingers
crossed.

@tryagainmaybelater
It didn't work for me at first either, but the problem was with rtmpdump not
the hulu
plugin, so if you can just get a svn checkout of rtmpdump I think everything
should
work fine. http://rtmpdump.mplayerhq.hu/

Could the Hulu plugin be added to the official get-flash-videos branch?

It would be pretty nice if get-flash-videos could officially advertise
supporting Hulu
downloading.

We'd rather it wasn't part of the main program so fucked up American laws (DMCA)
don't result in the whole project disappearing (gitorious is also non-US, which
Google Code isn't).

FYI, Atlassian bought bitbucket in late 2010, which is an Australian company,
thus subject to their version of DMCA.
