Removed the msrv badge because that suggests a commitment I'm not ready to uphold.
Removed the license badge because github already shows this information on right sidebar.
Removed the dependencies badge because that either requires churn to maintain or puts the project in a negative light whenever dependencies aren't up-to-date.
Regarding the installation instructions, I agree with the sentiment that they should be on the front README and I tried to move the sub-readmes to the front page, but then I remembered why that doesn't work: crates.io needs a readme and so I'd have to give each project the same readme that contains info for every command (maybe this is actually a good idea? open to suggestions). I don't want duplicated instructions, so I removed the top-level ones which is a bit of a bummer. If only github had includes.
