Can't activate clipboard from task bar #118

I can't say when exactly the issue began but I would start my computer and all worked fine but after some use I would try to activate the clipboard from the task bar and I only get what looks like a toggle action between to the open application where I would want to paste from the clipboard. I have tried removing and reinstalling the extension and get the same results. This is one of my favorite and most used extensions. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thank you. 😀

Maybe the database is broken (though that should be detected automatically)? You can try nuking it: rm ~/.cache/clipboard-history@alexsaveau.dev/database.log.

Facing the same issue but in a fresh installation. Followed the steps on the github readme to install and enable, but when I open the UI it shows the toggle off and does not allow to enable. On clicking the settings (gear) icon, an error message is shown with the following debug message -

`The settings of extension clipboard-history@alexsaveau.dev had an error:

SyntaxError: identifier starts immediately after numeric literal

Oh, you're probably using an old gnome version. We don't support pre 40.
