Zelda Wind Waker "An error has occurred" upon entering bomb shop #81

The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker runs perfectly on my Wii using Configurable USB 
Loader and the latest version of DML, but when I go to Windfall Island for the 
second time and try to enter the bomb shop, it goes to the transition screen, 
but it gives me the "An error has occurred, press the POWER button to turn the 
console OFF." message, and I'm unable to progress. I couldn't find anything on 
the internet regarding this issue.
