I'm sorry but there are zero changes to the set_stonith_service() code as you can see it here: https://github.com/SUSE-Enceladus/azure-li-services/blob/master/azure_li_services/units/system_setup.py#L175
Therefore I suggest you create a bugzilla ticket against the bugowner of open-iscsi (hreinecke, lee_duncan) and explain the connection issue. If it turns out that changes to the way we setup the stonith service are required please let us and we can act on it.
Thanks
sure, will do, thanks.
added a bug https://bugzilla.suse.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1182855, i couldn't fine the owners though (hreinecke, lee_duncan)
Hi Marcus,
I was testing out the new image mentioned on the issue https://github.com/SUSE-Enceladus/azure-li-services/issues/257 I found out that after a reboots on one of the hosts i see below error
this prevented the secondary host to join the HA cluster as communication to the primary was lost due to the loss iscsi connection There were no such issues on the primary host, when that was restarted. during all reboots the iscsi initiator is always logged in and i never had to login to the target after a reboot. This time after the reboot, after i logged in to the iscsi target explicitly, i was able to resolve the issue.
Please have a look.
Thanks !!
