Looks like the bug was only fixed on master but we need it for release-3.0 as well.

Please double check if the backports are enough or more fixes are needed for 3.0

Hi. We are removing the release-3.0 branch and so I have to close this PR. Even this is "mergeable", there is no validation from QA. Given this is a P5, I don't think this will be validated anytime soon. Please create again a PR to the maintenance branch when this is a priority again. Sorry.
