Official acronyms (Scott Corfield via news@suse.com, 2019-03-25):

SUSE Marketing has developed an approved list of product name acronyms to use when needed. Generally, you should always spell out product names completely as it helps to build and reinforce the SUSE brand. However, there are a few instances where acronyms can be used. They are limited to the following places:

  • Social media including hashtags (not blogs)
  • Tables with limited real estate
  • Vanity URLs
  • Event descriptions with limited word counts

For the time being, this should be in doc-kit. If somebody checks this is correct, we can close this issue here.
