In fact, 75 ms is probably much too long. I'd say 35 ms with a lag of 5 is fine. This will save about 90 minutes on a typical acquisition. The PIFOC settling time is currently hard to set as it's a read-only property in the settings file. The PIFOC delays are stored in the ScanImage config file, so it makes the most sense to provide instructions for storing them here. Then at most have a warning if the flyback time is very short.
Exactly the same with the flyback blanking. It shouldn't be so hard to change by placing it in the system settings.
When I make these changes, the docs on the system settings in the wiki will need to change.
I just removed these settings from the system settings file. The user will have to know to change them in the CFG file. 97d46fd755ddf110bb3547b89107e92d64a65302
Ours works well with a flyback time of 75 ms and a lag of 9 ms for the sorts of waveforms we typically produce.
