"Work Packages" top menu item #20

It seems unnatural not to list the WPs in alphabetic order. I undestand that's because the list follows the WP number. In that case, better to write "WP1 - ..." or something similar.

Same comment for the "minipage" on the homepage on "Work Packages".

kreczko commented 2 years ago

The initial version had that: the variable {shorthand} for the work package entries equals to WP 5 etc. However, it looked a bit cluttered.

It is just my opinion. Not for me to decide. But then in alphabetic order makes more sense IMO ...

(BTW, while at it, the overview page has a "[Home page]({{ .Site.Home.Permalink }})." displayed. Should be a trivial fix for the next commit or batch of commits.)

Overall the site is nice and clean 👍.

Overview page has been fixed, minipage on workpackages is now a numbered list:

  1. Intelligent data and workflow management (WP1)
  2. Event generators (WP2)
  3. Simulation (WP3)
  4. Reconstruction and trigger (WP4)
  5. Analysis Systems (WP5)

@davidecostanzo should we change order of work packages?

Current: image

Proposed:

Analysis Systems
Event generators
Intelligent data and workflow management
Reconstruction and trigger
Simulation

Since it will move Eduardo's and mine WP from last to first, we cannot make a decision on that ;).

We previously had

WP1: Intelligent data and workflow management
WP2: Event generators
WP3: Simulation
WP4: Reconstruction and trigger
WP5: Analysis Systems

But that was rejected due to clutter.

If we want to keep it as is → issue can be closed.

Hi Luke, sure, go ahead if you prefer. Sorry, I should have reacted to this earlier.

Thanks for sorting the typo. I was planning to do a bit of an update to the webpage in the coming days.

Cheers Davide
