The idea is to visualize diffs between closely related sequences e.g. SARS-CoV vs. SARS-CoV 2. Input are two uniprot ACs. In a first step, the underlying sequences are aligned using Needleman-Wunsch. Annotations arise from non-conserved amino acids. This only makes sense for sequences with high sequence identity.
