What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Starting the Keyboard stack
2. enabling the HP touchpad keyboard
3. then locking the device and unlocking it
What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Btstack keyboard, latest version as of writing on iPad iOS 5
