BTstack Keyboard for ATV: Non-US layouts not available/supported #229

I use an ATV2 (4.3.0) with aTV Flash (black) 1.2, newest BTstack and a BT 
Keyboard with German layout. 

Pairing worked fine but using is very difficult because ATV uses QWERTY for 
input but not Qwertz.

How can I change to Qwertz input?

The free BTstack keyboard for ATV has a fixed US layout. You cannot change it.

I have a Apple BT Keyboard with Norwegian layout, but can't pair it. You said 
it worked fine. How did you pair your keyboard? 

Using atv2 with seas0npass, newest BTStack.

Pairing my HP-Keyboard worked fine by going to: Settings / Custom Settings / BT 
Stack --> Searching. Once found the keyboard you'll get a code that you have to 
type into your keyboard. Then you have to hit "Enter" and it will connect. The 
only problem is the US layout and I went writing the QWERTY with Edding on it.
Maybe you have to put your keyboard into seaching mode first. I don't have 
Apple BT keyboard that's why I don't know whether it is in seaching mode after 
starting or it has  to be manually enabled. Good luck! Ann

we have the sane problem here, my Apple Keyboard has a German Layout

hi. as you all know, Apple added Bluetooth keyboard support to the ATV 2+3... 
I've bet them by almost 2 years, not bad, no?
