Exactly the same thing happens on Windows 7, although the OS presumably
installs the driver it disappears from control panel a few seconds later with
nothing ever happening on the device after inputting the code.
Please help on this

I'll double check WeBe++ next. Could you also provide packet logs here whenever
something doesn't work?

Well.. right when I was replicating the error to send you the log file, Ps3 and
app paired successfully...Not certain what happened but I'm almost sure it has
something to do with a Cydia tweak that was behaving weirdly (action menu
maybe..). I tried to pair the app with Windows 7 and exactly the same thing
happened though...so a problem still persists when pairing with the PC but the
ps3 issue seems resolved.
The log goes attached.

I was able to pair it initially to the PS3 and it registered my ipad, but on my
Webe++ it shows a blank spot where the PS3 was. To fix it, I deleted my ipad as
a registered device on the PS3 but the blank spot is still there and now the
PS3 is stuck in 'Scanning...Please wait.' and cannot find my Ipad. How do you
get rid of a paired device on Webe++ so I can try to pair my PS3 and Webe++
back again. I can post a screenshot of my Ipad if it helps any.

not sure if that helps, but you can do the usual swipe to left to delete items.
The "empty spot" is your PS3, it doesn't have a name although we tried to
substitute that with "Playstation" or something like that.

I've got the same issue, i haven't been able to pair webe++ with my ps3 for
over a year now...
It worked a long time ago- but some update (either ps3 or webe++) stopped that
from happening now.
The ps3 recognizes my device(iPod touch4g)
But after the required passKey is entered, my ps3 presents an error message
saying "An error occurred during the register operation. Try to register again"
Yet no matter how many times I try again-& rebooting my iPod/ps3/btstack I
simply can't get the two devices to be one with each other again...

Same here, is there any other app or tweak that works like this?

I have this same issue. After attempting to pair my iPhone 4S (5.1.1) to my PS3
(latest firmware) the PS3 gives me a key code. I enter the key code in to my
iPhone with WeBe++ open, a few seconds later my PS3 says "An error occured
during the register operation. Try to register again." Any attempt to register
again just results in the same error message with no key code. If I reboot my
PS3, however, it will give me the key code once more, but then result in the
same error.
I've attempted to uninstall WeBe++ and BTStack and reinstall them both after
rebooting the PS3 only to get the same exact result. Can anyone shed some light
on this?

hi! it looks like your installation of webe++ didn't properly retrieve the
licensing information from the server. Please try deleting
/var/mobile/Library/Preferences/com.weblooks.webe-plus.plist and start again.
Also, please make sure you're connected to the internet and you don't have
Firewall or Privacy Protection software activated. If that doesn't help, please
send a ticket incl. your UDID and purchase confirmation mail at

This just happened with me as well. Just purchased the app a few days ago, and
it worked perfectly with the PS3 the first time. Turned off the PS3 and turned
it back on, and then app would still "connect" to the PS3 and show the controls
on screen, but the PS3 was unresponsive to them. I deleted the iPhone on the
PS3 and the PS3 on the iPhone to start over. Now, I get to the point where I
input the pairing code on the iPhone, but then both devices remain in that
state for good. No error messages; no successful pair. I tried deleting the
plist file as said above but still get the same result. Also tried respring
and reboot, same result. Attaching btstack log. Thanks for your help!!!

@rudymills: in your log, it looks like WeBe++ isn't accepting the incoming
connection. Could it be that WeBe++ crashed or was in the background? (also,
did you get it to work)

hi again. I've got a TV in my living room for a bit and could test myself a bit
more. WeBe++ works with my PS3 and has all firmware updates. As I said before,
please post a ticket if it doesn't work for you.

Hi,
I recently did a jailbreak on my iPhone 3GS just for this app, being such a
brilliant idea for using my old iphone that just gets used as an iPod these
days.
First time worked perfectly. Had some issues then after exiting app and trying
to use again last night, basically it had the device listed, selected as hid on
ps3 and the interface and Bluetooth were fine on the iphone.. But did not
control anything. I tried forgetting the device on both sides, reset both
devices and then rescanned, nothing, just stuck searching for device, went to
sleep frustrated.
Got up today and tried again, nothing changed and scanned, found device,
connected and all worked perfectly again. Opened diablo 3 and then it didn't
work. Restarted app and it works perfectly again, opened diablo 3 and it still
worked. It seems like intermittent faults, I was hoping for a more stable
connection and am unsure if there's anything I can do to improve this.
I'm using:
iPhone 3GS, 6.1.6, untethered jailbreak using redsn0w and p0sixspwn, latest
updates
PS3, latest firmware update
Any help appreciated.
Also an idea, the use of the microphone for in game chat would be an excellent
addition.
