I happened randomly 2 times (1 cow and 1 chicken) but when I catched them with the diamond mob catcher, theirgene are reinitialized to defaults. The two mob that changed where spawned when de world loaded.
It was in creative with minecraft 1.18.2 Forge (GeneticAnimals-0_8_25.jar). I was playing in a LAN server (I was not the host)
I wish I had more details on how it happened but except those two random times, I was not able to reproduce the issue with mobs I spawned with the egg.
I will drop server logs tomorrow to help fix the bug :D
