signon - automatic versioning #83

signon gives us application_name and application_version

Add a table of versions in config Send back current version number so client can decide to upgrade.

After conversation with Dan, I need to rework as a config section.

On discussion - decided not to do this, but the merge still needs to happen as the structural changes are there to allow config sections (the version number parts are commented out)
