Testing - replace time.sleep with the testing method Dan defined

There is no time.sleep() in the tests now - it wasn't needed after we moved to milliseconds.

But ... this means that we aren't testing the new testing header at all.

I'm going to close this - but @danaronson you might want to re-open if you still want to test your header.
