It's not trivial to add a WiFi selection/reconnect control to an iOS app as far as I know. It might even require to request a special entitlement from Apple to access the list of available WiFi networks (which normally is granted to network analysis tools). We'll have a look into this at some point, but our development roadmap unfortunately is very full right now.
On macOS such a WiFi control should be easier to implement. There are two alternatives though:
We are having problems with iOS devices disconnecting from the network at one of our sites, which appears to have got worse with recent versions of iOS. Whilst I believe this to be an issue between the Cisco access points and iOS itself, the problem is impacting exams because they cannot reconnect the WiFi when using SEB in lockdown mode. With a normal browser like Safari they can just click the WiFi controls to reconnect, so they don't report problems accessing websites during learning usage. The perception is this is a problem that only affects exams. The Windows version of SEB has a setting to enable a WiFi control from within SEB. Could a WiFi control (connect/disconnect + select network) be added to SEB for Mac and iOS? I believe this would go a long way to help the perception that this is an SEB and exam software issue. Plus it may be something we can actually do to improve the situation, as we have no direct control over the WiFi network.
