As the message already indicates, these users have tried to either leave or change the active Windows user session. To prevent that a student is able to cheat by using another Windows user during an exam, SEB detects user session switches and subsequently activates this lock screen. To unlock, one needs to enter the quit/restart passwort configured in the active SEB settings, or simply click the "Unlock" button if there is no such password set.
Thank you for the quick and thorough answer
Describe the Bug At my institution (Polytechnic Institute of Coimbra) we are starting to use SEB together with Moodle and Zoom in all of the subjects for evaluation. Today, in the first evaluation using this system, some of the students lost connectivity during the exam, and afterwards the SEB presented a red screen with the information "SEB LOCKED The active user has changed or the computer has been locked! In order to unlock SEB, please select one of the available options and enter the correct unlock password." It also requests a password to unlock the exam but it does not accept none of the inserted passwords. What password should be inserted? How can we proceed to unlock the screen or which configuration can avoid it in the first place?
Steps to Reproduce Red screen appears after the students lost connectivity during the exam
Expected Behavior Return to the exam, or allow to unlock the screen with a known password.
