Currently, users may have many keys for the same person in the recipients list. We also have a concept of "most-recent only". We use "Most recent only" to filter the reply edit box on the messages tab, the 50% transparency on the message threads, and the check box on the recipient list view. I think iOS is missing one of these filters that Android currently uses and it would be good to sync up.
