There are firmware updaters for Win/Mac (never used them), where from do the pull "the latest firmware"? I used to have that bookmarked but cannot find it now. Adding it in the README is good.
Keeping a binary inside the repo (e.g. firmware.bin) that gets replaced on release is another way of doing it (then we'll have all the "official binaries" stored).
A pointer to the latest binary would be great. (Particularly since for me make ends at "safecast.elf section '.data' will not fit in region 'rom'"....)
