ok. i've updated the site to include two things:

  1. the safecast logo will display as the meta image tag for all the category archives, and for any posts / pages that don't have an image associated with it.

  2. i've changed the template so the category description field can be used (if desired). any content entered into that field in the WP admin area will display under the category name when viewing that category's archive page.

    category-desc
