Point from @jamoross is that it might be best to start where you are then compare the same time of day across the globe.
Assigning @mbatran given his work on mapping so far. @mbatran if you'd rather leave this unassigned that's fine too.
If you can make it flexible so you can define whatever time you want as reference it would be even better - but the reason we wanted some time gap is to allow all sensors to post their data. Perhaps experimenting with a few scenarios would be great to see what really works.
