It doesn't look like we'll be able to get this aspect working properly yet, and I'm honestly not convinced that we need (or should) have this for android, where it's so much easier to add an application to a homescreen.
For android, if we want to make large homescreen panic buttons a possibility, then we probably need to look at app widgets. Because of the singular focus of Panic! as a feature, I am starting to think that this makes more sense for the application than does multiple installed applications in the app drawer. Thoughts welcome (@n8fr8)?
