I was playing the same modpack as Smittlord on a server (Eldritch Machinizations 2, which includes this mod in 1.18.2). The mod file is the same: apotheosis-0.2.81.jar, and it is run on fabric.
When breaking EITHER the bookshelf of sight or the bookshelf of masterful sight with a pickaxe, even when WAILA says that the bookshelf is harvestable, the bookshelf is destroyed.
