Use cases for this data model

@lopierra @anngvu what are the use cases for creating this data model? Is this for exploration purposes of linkml? If yes, that's cool and useful. And we (FAIR Data) would be happy to chat about any take aways.

But if this is intended for use in the 1kD project, here are a couple of notes:

• FAIR Data has been in conversation w/ SysBio on 1kD needs specifically, and we didn't hear about the need for developing a linkml schema; was this a request from their team? We'd like to establish a standardized DCC flow at Sage, comprising a standardized set of tools, services and SOPs supported by the platform and D&T teams
• linkml is not currently part of this standardized flow; it's on the radar, but work on supporting is not planned to begin for the next 3-6 months.

@milen-sage this is a "group project" for the Data Modeling Group to learn LinkML and practice building a model collaboratively. We're mostly using 1KD as a starting point since the model is pretty small - I don't think it's meant to actually contribute to the 1KD project. Maybe it could also serve as a test case if FAIR data needs a LinkML model to work with. :)
