Hi @mdsage1, I'll use this ticket to track your onboarding to the OpenChallenges (OC) project. In order to start contributing to the development of OC, you will need to setup your development environment. I've linked documentation on how to create an EC2 and how to start the dev container. Please let us know if there is anything in the docs that is include. I then recommend scheduling a meeting with Verena or Rong so that they can introduce you to our development workflow. This documentation can help but definitively does not include recent changes we have made to our development workflow, in particular on how to start the OC stack.

Meanwhile I'll think to a few objectives you could then choose from as your first contributions.
