I would say Yes. The docs says:

The format for valid values is {Friendly Name} / {Code} , e.g. Platform Infrastructure / 990300.

because the {Friendly Name} is part of the valid value. Currently, we are using an old friendly name ("NIH-ITCR").

Joni confirmed on Slack that we can continue to use the CostCenter shown by @vpchung above.

as long as the numeric code in the tag is correct, the cost center will be properly charged

so, since both ITCR / 101600 and NIH-ITCR / 101600 share the same numeric code, they will be combined into the same category in Cost Explorer

@rrchai @mdsage1 Please confirm that your EC2 instance has the tag CostCenter and the value after the slash ("/") is "101600".

Maria confirmed that her CostCenter value is NIH-ITCR / 101600.
