We need to replace the Motherboard, RAM, and NVME SSDs, and add an E-NIC, on AEON3 and AEON4.
Additionally, before setting up the new SSDs in RAID0, we need to copy over the OS to a smaller disk - a 500 GB SATA SSD.
The reasons for this are the following:
We need to switch to ECC RAM for ECC data safety benefits for long-term experiments.
We need to switch to a motherboard that supports ECC RAM for the Intel i9-13900k.
We need to add an E-NIC to support two ethernet ports (one for 10GigE network connection, one for the light controls)
The 8 TB Sabrent Rocket NVME SSDs we are using are no longer in-production due to long-term stabilitiy concerns (reports of them dying way before expected EoL), so we are switching SSDs to 4 TB WD Black SN850X NVMEs.
