Is using a different pcb for the encoder - so is accumulating values negative (but in reality the proper direction) compared to the other patches; so one workaround is to make the radius positive for this patch
Replace ribbon cable from encoder to output expander with smaller cable
Magnet is too far away from pcb, so encoder values appear a bit noisy

Ok, we fixed the issues with changing the ribbon cables used. The magnet is still slightly further away from the pcb on this dummy patch than the others, but doesn't change anything so all good.
