Problem:
I have a switching supply schematic design I'd like to use for 12V & 5V supplies. They are the same design with 2-3 different part values.
What I'd like to do is make a hierarchical design with 5V and 12V schematic blocks of the same design. I'll use your tool to pull the design in from my " library toolbox" into the hierarchy, then I'd like to do something similar for PCB layout. i.e., the same layout will be used twice, once for the 5V circuit, again for the 12V circuit following the datasheet layout recommendations.
It would seem your tool could be combined with https://github.com/MitjaNemec/ReplicateLayout to cover both the Schematic and PCB Layout tasks for this "generic switching supply solution. This would allow me to quickly generate the power supplies I need for several of my designs.
Any chance of collaboration with this other project to make one unified tool to cover both applications?
