Bing Maps: I am unable to click #2

Open GoogleCodeExporter opened 8 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 8 years ago
I loaded bing maps and I'm trying to tap/click links but it doesn't detect the
clicks, the only thing I can do is zoom in/out.

I'm using the version that was uploaded on the 6th of Dec.

And on Youtube i found this:

A couple of people have mentioned they can't get Bing Maps to work with it.
To enable automatic touch injection, double click the "Surface 0" name and
select it as an option.
By default, it is the role of the display to select an appropriate interaction
method for the content. For example, foot detection, touch detection or
gestures.

Bing Maps don't implement touch events on the links as far as I can tell.
However, they do implement them on the map. It is possible to extend the
toolkit to generate a click when only one touch is detected, but it will be a
bit of a hack.

I'm working on a new version which will hopefully fix these issues and make it
possible to emulate the behaviour of a normal Windows touch screen.
