Open GoogleCodeExporter opened 8 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 8 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Install Soundflower
2. Installation ends without errors
3. After reboot Soundflowerbed is not in the Soundflower folder in Applications

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
No Soundflowerbed app installed when it should (unless something has changed?)

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
1.6.6b on Mac OSX 10.8.2

Please provide any additional information below.
Before installing I ran the uninstall script and rebooted. In the sound
preferences panel Soundflower is listed as a device, both 2 and 64 channels.

Checking the OS X install.log file I found out this:

Sep 22 17:09:11 Hectors-MacBook-Pro.local installd[403]: PackageKit:
Applications/Soundflower/Soundflowerbed.app relocated to
Users/hector/Library/Developer/Xcode/DerivedData/Soundflowerbed-fgwybfglwmpzzagd
brdcwokeuuhz/Build/Products/Deployment/Soundflowerbed.app

I checked and indeed, SoundflowerBed is there, in a directory buried inside the
Xcode directory under ~/Library. Would this be a bug in the installer or is
there something wrong with my system?

Thanks,

Hector
